Did PAYBACK Give Up?!

Speaking of different plots...
I recently watched Payback: Straight Up -The Director's Cut. I had no idea that the director's cut was so different from the theatrical release. Kris Kristofferson wasn't in the director's cut at all, in fact, his character was played, well, voiced really, by Sally Kellerman, who never makes an appearance in the film. The whole thing about Bronson's son getting kidnapped wasn't in the director's cut at all.

It's really hard for me to say which cut I liked better. I really liked the theatrical release, and the director's cut was really well done. It's like comparing apples to oranges, almost. I really recommend watching Payback: Straight Up if you haven't seen it yet.
