Holy Crap, I Watched Movies The Same Week I Bought Them

So, yeah. I watched both 300 and Hot Fuzz this weekend, which is a rare event for me.

I hear a lot of people talking about movies that are in their "Netflix Queue." Well, I don't subscribe to Netflix, simply because I have movies that I have purchased years ago that I still haven't had time to watch. I need to create my own LeiterFlix Queue list. When I do, I'll post it here.

Also, a couple more purchases last week. I picked up the Godfather box set and Raging Bull.

New Purchases 7/31/2007

So I went to Best Buy, and got 300 and Hot Fuzz.

I also decided to pick up Friday, because it's a damn funny movie, and even though they show it on USA all the damn time, it loses something in the translation to basic cable.

Of course, it features the always-funny John Witherspoon, who also plays the voice of "Granddad 'Bitches' Freeman" on the Boondocks cartoon.
