First of all...

I should change the title of this blog, since it's less about reviewing movies, and just about DVDs and movies in general.  Although I'm pretty sure no one's reading this blog anyway, so whatever.

I've been buying a few more DVDs lately.  A handful have been new releases (Rambo, National Treasure 2), but most of them have been deep discounted.  I've (of course) still been buying some deep discounted movies, including a few that were at Amazon.com for $5.00 a pop.

Recently, I watched the remake of The Amityville Horror.  I liked the original a lot (with Margot Kidder and James Brolin), and I didn't think I'd want to see the remake (especially since I can't stand Ryan Reynolds, but it was surprisingly good.

I've also completed my Planet of the Apes collection with both the live-action and animated series.
